Achim WASEEM Seger ist Rapper, DJ, Poetry Slammer, Veranstalter und Aktivist. Er leitet die Fachstelle Jugendarbeit in der Migrationsgesellschaft des Bezirksjugendrings Oberbayern und Kurator des ausARTen-Festivals.

Hip-hop culture is a global, very diverse and political (youth) movement in which socially/structurally disadvantaged people can speak out, raise their voices and make themselves heard. Therefore, hip hop can be understood as an anti-racist empowerment and political movement. Through the history of hip hop we can learn a lot about anti-racism and decolonisation and in the WORD UP! workshops rappers and poetry slammers can make social conflicts and disadvantages visible with their stories – WORD UP!
